Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These Terms govern the use of HATE, published by: Adam SIMON – Sole trader (micro-entreprise) SIRET: 939 359 782 00017 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France adamsimon2002pro@gmail.com By creating an account or using HATE, the user acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms.
1. Purpose and registration
HATE is a dating application that enables users to create a profile, define whom they wish to meet, provide Hates, view profiles, interact, obtain matches, and communicate.
Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, have a valid telephone number, and not be prohibited from using the service. Sign-in may use Apple, Google, or an email one-time code. Telephone verification remains mandatory.
2. Profile accuracy
False identities, impersonation, presenting another person’s photograph as one’s own, and false dates of birth are prohibited. A profile may include a first name, photographs, biography, occupation, education, height, gender, pronouns, languages, dating preferences, relationship type, workplace location, and current city.
3. Photographs and content
A profile contains between 3 and 6 photographs. Users warrant that they hold the necessary rights to all published content. Unlawful, misleading, or violent content, content that infringes third-party rights, and content that sexualises minors are prohibited.
Users authorise HATE to host, technically reproduce, and display their content solely to operate the service. Users retain their rights in that content.
4. Matching and interactions
HATE enables users to discover, pass, select, collect, and pin Hate cards, including through packs. HATE suggests profiles based on shared Hates, distance, and reciprocal preferences. This system may evolve. Likes, passes, and Super Likes may lead to a match when the service’s conditions are met. Some features may be reserved for Premium subscribers.
5. Messaging and respectful conduct
HATE must not be used to harass, threaten, discriminate, defraud, extort, impersonate, catfish, send spam or unsolicited sexual content, exploit a vulnerable person, fraudulently collect data, or distribute dangerous or unlawful content or links.
6. Reporting and enforcement
A user may report or block an account. HATE may issue a warning, hide content, restrict a feature, suspend, or delete an account in cases of abuse, fraud, danger, violation of law, or breach of these Terms. Immediate action may be necessary.
7. Incognito, travel, and notifications
Incognito mode limits visibility without guaranteeing absolute anonymity. Travel mode allows another area to be selected and may be limited during beta testing. Notifications can be configured in the App and operating system.
8. Premium, prices, and payment
Prices, subscription periods, and conditions are displayed before purchase. On iOS, in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple under its own terms, with RevenueCat acting as the technical entitlement-verification provider. Deleting the App or account does not cancel an Apple subscription; it must be cancelled separately in the App Store settings.
9. Intellectual property
HATE’s code, interface, visual identity, logo, name, text, and features are protected. Unauthorised copying, modification, distribution, resale, decompilation, reverse engineering, or exploitation is prohibited.
10. Availability and liability
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical incidents, or provider failures. HATE does not guarantee that a user will meet a partner, that profiles are entirely accurate, how users behave outside the App, or the safety of an in-person meeting.
For a first meeting, choose a public place, tell someone you trust, protect sensitive information, and report suspicious behaviour.
11. Data and account deletion
Processing is described in the Privacy Policy. The account can be deleted directly from Settings in accordance with that policy and applicable legal obligations.
12. Changes, governing law, and contact
These Terms may change as the service or regulations evolve. They are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory rules of the consumer’s country of residence. In the event of a dispute, contact the publisher first to seek an amicable resolution.
